The Dover AFB Industry Forum is scheduled to occur on 25 - 26 February
2004 at the Dover Downs Hotel and Conference Center in Dover, DE.
The full-day industry forum will feature an in-depth discussion
on the Air Force's pending solicitation to privatize and reinvigorate
military housing at Dover Air Force Base. To view additional information

A Housing Tour will be provided to interested parties during the
Industry Forum. In order to abide by the Air Force's Force Protection
Requirements, all parties participating in the Housing Tour must
register for the Industry Forum and Housing Tour by no later than
February 18, 2004. Also, to be admitted to the Housing Tour, you
must have with you a government issued photo identification (e.g.,
a drivers license, a passport, etc.). Please note that a library
card will not serve as an acceptable form of identification.
Please register
for the Dover AFB Military Housing Industry Forum and Housing
Tour by February 18, 2004. If you do not plan to take
the Housing Tour, you can register by February 23, 2004. Register

A block of rooms have
been set aside for the Industry Forum, and to secure the $125
per night room rate, plus tax, hotel reservations
must be made by February 8, 2004. Call the hotel and mention the "Dover
AFB Industry Forum" to get this rate. Additional information
about the Hotel is available at their website.
Dover Downs is located in the central part of Delaware within the
city limits of Dover. The Hotel is located on the Northbound side
of US Route 13, which is the major north/south dual highway in

Dover Downs is located in the central part of Delaware within
the city limits of Dover. The Hotel is located on the
Northbound side of US Route 13, which is the major north/south
dual
highway in Delaware.

From Baltimore, Washington or Richmond via the Chesapeake
Bay Bridge:
Take US 50/301 across the bridge. Follow US 301 North to
Maryland Route 302 (right turn at mile marker 102). Turn
right on Maryland Route 454 at Templeville. Route 454 becomes
Route 8 at the Delaware state line. In Dover, turn left
on US 13 North. Dover Downs is approximately 2 miles on
the right. Dover is about 50 miles from the Bay Bridge.
From South of the Chesapeake Bay via Chesapeake Bay Bridge:
Take I-64 West to Richmond, then I-95 North to the Washington
Beltway (I-495 North). Take I-495 North to Route 50/301.
Take Route 50/301 East over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.
Follow US 301 North to Maryland Route 302 (right turn at
mile marker 102). Turn right Maryland Route 454 at Templeville.
Route 454 becomes Route 8 at the Delaware state line. In
Dover, turn left on US 13 North. Dover Downs is approximately
2 miles on the right. Dover is about 50 miles from the
Bay Bridge.
From Areas South of the Chesapeake Bay via Bridge-Tunnel:
At Norfolk, cross the Bridge-Tunnel and follow US 13 North
all the way to Dover. Dover Downs is 2 miles North of downtown
on the right. Dover is about 170 miles from the Bridge-Tunnel.
From Baltimore or Washington via Interstate 95:
From I-695 (the Baltimore Beltway), take I-95 North to
exit 4A. Take US 1 to Exit 104. Turn left at the light
and Dover Downs is 2 miles on the left.
From Areas Served by the Pennsylvania Turnpike:
Take the turnpike East to the Valley Forge Exit, then US
202 South to US 13 South. Follow US 13 South to the split
with Route 1 South. Take Route 1 South to Exit 104 (50
cent toll/exact change only at night). Turn left on US
13 South. Dover Downs is approximately 2 miles on your
left. Dover is about 70 miles from Center City Philadelphia.
From Philadelphia or Trenton:
Take I-95 South to I-495 South to Exit 1 (US 13 South exit).
Follow US 13 South to the split with Route 1 South. Take
Route 1 South to Exit 104 (50 cent toll). Turn left on
US 13 South. Dover Downs is approximately 2 miles on your
left. Dover is about 70 miles from Center City Philadelphia.
Alternate Route From Philadelphia and Trenton: Take I-95
South through Wilmington to Route 1 South. Follow the rest
of the directions above.
From New Jersey and New England:
Take the New Jersey Turnpike South to Delaware Memorial
Bridge. Take 95 South to Exit 4A. Take Route 1 South to
Exit 104 (50 cent toll/exact change only at night). Turn
left on US 13 South. Dover Downs is approximately 2 miles
on your left. Dover is about 45 miles from Delaware Memorial
Bridge.
